Welcome to Hôtel Port-Jacquet

on the heights of the Saint-Cast le Guildo peninsula

Le Port Jacquet

The welcome and charm of Brittany made simple

In 1999, Nathalie & Christophe became the owners of “l’Étoile des Mers”, a historic inn in the Isle district of Saint-Cast le Guildo. After interior renovations, l’Etoile des Mers was transformed into the Hôtel Port-Jacquet, with 20 comfortable rooms with sea views or private terraces on the ground floor.

In this old stone building from the Saint-Cast le Guildo quarries dating from 1923, we wanted to preserve the authentic spirit of the family guesthouse.

Our restaurant offers homemade, local cuisine in the form of a single menu, in a warm and friendly setting (not forgetting the breathtaking view over the bay).

In 2020, the estate expanded with the acquisition of the “Les Mouettes property” (two villas adjacent to the hotel on 1300m2 of land). 8 new spacious, top-of-the-range rooms were added, as well as a private car park.

Thomas, the eldest son, then joined the family business and decided to open, in March 2020, “Le Caviste”, a confidential wine cellar (open to all) in the basement of the Villa “Les Mouettes”.

We currently offer 26 rooms for one to four people.

We hope you’ll enjoy your stay!

Our customers’ review

« Lovely hotel in a fantastic position overlooking the bay. The manager was really friendly and incredibly helpful when we had an issue with one of our bicycles. Had the set meal in the evening which was delicious as was the buffet breakfast. Thank you ! »
« Our second visit to Hotel Port Jaquet, with friends. We chose bed and breakfast, as we wished to sample dinner in some of the many restaurants in St Cast. Nathalie and Christophe are very welcoming hosts, with nothing too much trouble. We certainly look forward to our next visit! »
« Not having booked a room in advance, we have been lucky to get the last room available in this hotel after a hiking day. The owner gave us a warm welcome and was really friendly during our stay. The room was clean, light-flooded and comfortable and had everything you would expect from a 2*-hotel. The dinner in the evening, prepared by the owner, was tasty and the buffet for breakfast offered everything needed. This hotel offers good quality at a fair price. It's a nice place to stay in Saint-Cast! »
"We stayed in this hotel as part of our six-day cycling holiday along the Brittany coast and enjoyed it most of all the hotels in which we stayed. It’s small, beautifully situated high above the bay and the marina, and offers very affordable half-board rates. Best of all, the hotel is quiet, calme et luxe, as the French say, and very French, in the best possible way."
